QR Codes are being increasingly being implemented these days, thanks to the smartphones that have amazing apps to read them. Recently, I found an advertisement in a newspaper that mentioned just a QR Code and nothing else. Many basic cell phones can be configured to pick up these codes but the software that’s being used is pathetic and they end up giving inconsistent results. Now, If you don’t have a cell phone that can read QR codes, you are pretty much stuck.
MiniQR Reader comes to the rescue in these situations. All you need is a computer with a Webcam attached. If you find a QR code in a webpage, you just need to submit the QR Image URL to MiniQR and it’ll interpret the same. If you find it on a paper, your Webcam can pick it up!
QR Code Scanning for Mobiles:
A lot of Midrange Nokia phones can read QR Codes with Nokia’s Official App. If you don’t have a Nokia phone, you may try visiting I-nigma’s website from your phone’s browser to download a compatible app. Although, this method works it isn’t as accurate as an iPhone/Android’s reader.
