How to use Goo.gl URL Shortener with TweetDeck?

Goo.gl with TweetDeck

TweetDeck supports a lot of URL shortening services, but if you are in love with Goo.gl you are left with no love. Find out after the break about how to use Goo.gl with TweetDeck Auto URL shortening.

For TweetDeck Desktop AIR App:

TweetDeck Settings

  • Open TweetDeck and click on ‘Settings’ at the top-right.
  • In the TweetDeck Settings window, choose the ‘Services’ tab and choose ‘Other’ in the dropdown menu for choosing the URL shortener.
  • When asked for the URL Shortening endpoint, paste the link below and click on ‘Save Settings’.

https://tdutils.appspot.com/shorten/googl?longUrl=%@

Your URLs will now be automatically shortened to Goo.gl. Remember that this isn’t the official Endpoint and does not use Authentication, you will also not be able to have analytics/link your account to it.
