Hide YouTube comments with Extensions/UserScripts

YouTube is awesome, but it’s comments section is one of the worst-used parts of the Internet. Here’s how you can hide the comments and make sure that you don’t waste time *even accidentally* reading them.

Google Chrome:

If you use Chrome as your primary browser, all you need to do is install the ‘Hide YouTube Comments’ extension. This makes sure that the comments at YouTube.com are invisible at all times. Simple!

Mozilla Firefox:

There are no extensions that hide YouTube comments, but I found a really good userscript that seems to work. Make sure that you’ve got the Grease Monkey add-on before you install the userscript. If you don’t know what I am talking about, read this. This userscript should work on Chrome without any add-on and on most common browsers.
