Microsoft recently announced a cool email notification feature for your Hotmail account. This works when the site is added to the Windows 7 Tab and we’re going to have a detailed look about how to do it right!
- Start by opening Internet Explorer 9 and login to your Hotmail account. Make sure that you enable ‘Remember Password’. If you don’t this feature may not work.
- Add the site to your taskbar and pin the same. See how the tasks like Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, Composing an email are already in the jump list.
- From now on, you’ll see a little number next to the icon whenever there’s email waiting for you.
If you are using Hotmail for your primary emailing needs, I’d definitely recommend you to make use of this feature.
